Our Lead Pastor Jon Boulet

Jon Boulet’s walk with HBC began in 1985 when, at the age of 10, his family moved to Delaware.  After graduating high school, Jon attended college and entered the Air Force where he served as a pilot for 9 years.  In 2006, Jon separated from the active duty Air Force and accepted the position of Associate Pastor here at HBC.  He was called by the church to become the Lead Pastor in November of 2008.

Jon is a graduate of Biblical Seminary and continues to serve in the Air National Guard.  Jon married his high-school sweetheart, Andrea, who also grew up in the local area. They have four children and deeply value the opportunity God has given them to come home and grow roots.

Our Associate Pastor Terry Foester

Terry left a career in engineering to pursue his calling to be a pastor and has been serving as the Associate Pastor since May of 2009. Terry is a graduate of Biblical Seminary.

Terry’s goal as a Pastor is to be fully engaged in God’s kingdom work of restoration here on earth. Terry serves as both the missions and communications pastor focusing on the overall ministry and worship life of the Church. His hope is to help inspire people to lift up the name of Jesus to the high places of their lives – in worship, service and relationship.

Terry and his wife, Libby, have four children, Elias, Eden, Silas, and Mercy.

Our Youth Ministry Leaders John & Katie Coleman

John and Katie Coleman joined our staff in 2005 working with our youth.

John is a graduate of the University of Delaware in Newark, DE, and currently works as a computer programmer.

Katie is a graduate of Eastern University where she received a masters degree in counseling.

 

Our Children’s Ministries Director Sharla DeBoef

Sharla joined our staff in 2011 after volunteering as the Pre-School Ministries Director for three years.

Sharla feels passionate about the importance of children’s ministry and her prayer is that every child will enjoy coming to church and will learn about God’s great plan for them.  Her desire is that the children will hear the Word of God and take it home with them as they begin to understand how to use it in their lives.

Sharla and her husband, Brent, lived in the midwest until moving to Delaware in 2005 and they have two boys, Garrett and Jacob.
